SAINT JOHN'S EVE AND SAINT JOHN
The night of San Juan, like many festivals, was originally a pagan festival, which was taken over by the Christian religion, and has become a traditional festival over the years. This party is celebrated on June 23, starting at 10:00 p.m. with a concert by Al-Alba that will last until midnight. This concert will be followed by the traditional bonfire for the burning of the "Jua" on Burriana beach, followed by a fireworks display. At 00:00 o'clock people usually get their heads wet or jump into the sea, sometimes making a wish as they do so.
