The Day of the "Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary" is celebrated in Spain on December 8th and it is a Catholic celebration. On this day it is commemorated that Mary, mother of Jesus, was not affected by original sin but, from the first moment of her conception, was free from all sin.
